By Cathy Trinh

-Book Review

Thank you Krista with LAVIDGE Publicity for the opportunity to review this memoir. My opinion of this book is my own.

Synopsis

Learning to slow down in life is something that many of us need to master.  Arthur Cathy Trinh openly shares her experiences, her journey to becoming the person she is today-a beautiful existence.

Cathy reflects on her life and shares her healing methods with readers.  She introduces her concept H.O.L.Y. Moments© and also includes a 7-Day Guide to Slow Living at the end.

Important points or quotes taken from the book:

“When you maintain a life living in the slow lane, you will experience the following miraculous breakthrough:

  • Become timeless, consistent and steady.
  • Know how to live intention and deep purpose.
  • Be in the present and nourish your soul to allow you to savor each moment. “(Cathy)

And much more.

~

“Slowing down is a daily practice and becomes an art to help master your life intentionally.” (Cathy)

~

“Slowing down can be under your control…” (Cathy)

~

“Great masters and gurus in every walk of life know the importance of moving gracefully through life, slowing down, sitting still or meditating and pushing to enjoy every moment.  They realize that the present moment is the most powerful.” (Cathy)

My Thoughts

Cathy takes you on her life’s journey, and what a journey it is.  The openness she shares about her life draws you into her reflection of life moments. She is an overcomer and inspiration.  I love that she included a foreword from her son because our children are a part of our journey and growth. The open letter she included to him was touching as well.

I truly appreciate being able to read her memoir and for her sharing her story.  I will definitely use her methods as I am on my own growth and healing journey.  I recommend those needing to heal and slow down to add to their reading list.

“From a child to elders, animals, to plants, everything has a reason and a meaning to teach and share.” (Cathy)
