On Wings of Hope-Leading Lily Home By Cynthia Lynch Bischoff, PhD-Book Review

Thank you Cynthia for the opportunity to review your memoir. My opinion of this book is my own.

Synopsis

Cynthia Lynch Bischoff shares a personal story of understanding life and death with her client Lily.  Lily had battled cancer more than once, and Cynthia came into her life as a life coach and energy practitioner but ended as a sister and friend. Cynthia and Lily began their journey together and learned from each other even after Lily passed away.  Lily’s spirit continues to live on and help others, even those who read this memoir.

Throughout the book, there are many important lessons and quotes shared that was meant for me to read:

One of my favorite quotes from Lily- “I keep telling myself that when I get thoughts like I can’t change things or I’ve never been able to do that, I’ll just remember your words ‘up until now’ and know that I can do it differently now!”

~

“The body is an out-pouring of the mind, an energy took of the spirit.  Spirit, mind and body are integrated and create our health.” (Cynthia)

~

“And so there is the important connection of hearts.  If one heart reaches out, another one does too, and so with our hearts connected, we help one another.” (Cynthia)

My Thoughts

If you are into spirituality and want a deeper understanding of the life process and how to live your purpose throughout your life and even after death, I recommend this book for you. You will be intrigued and touched deeply.  I am glad that I was able to read this memoir.  I believe I was meant to read this book as I am digging deeper into my own spiritual journey.  I try to be intentional with accepting or selecting adult books to review that go along with purposeful living, and this was a reminder of my purpose and to do it faithfully until I am no longer here on Earth.  When I read the story about Pop, it reminded me to always care deeply for those that come across my path no matter how long they are meant to remain in our lives. I will end my thoughts with more of my favorite quotes from the book:

“In each lifetime while we are here on earth, we are learning how to love ourselves and each other.   So we must trust that each lifetime is about learning.” (Cynthia)

~

“Every moment and every event of our lives on earth plants something in our soul.” ~A. Thomas Merton quote that Cynthia shared as one of Lily’s favorite quote

“Don’t judge each day by the harvest you reap but by the seeds that you plant.” ~Robert Louis Stevenson quote dear to Cynthia that she shared with Lily
