It’s Been One Year! We Have Many To Go!

Inspiring Thru Positivity has been launched for a year on September 1st.   This year has been a great journey.  It has been a year of learning and creating.  We have a long way to go to reach our goals, but I do not have one regret for taking the leap of faith. I going to add Part II of my year in review of 2018 in with this because taking the leap was part of the second half of 2018.

As I stated in Part I, the year 2018 was a continuation of 2017 for the most part full of ups and downs.  The goals I had were to 1) Where to work on my spiritual life more, 2) Focus and Grow in Motherhood, 3) Focus on my health, and 4) Focus on my dreams I wanted to accomplish and this included my blog and business.

I focused on my goals.  The one I still struggled with was my health because mentally I was still drowning.  What could I do to focus? I needed something.  I wanted to be able to be more creative because that was my outlet, but my main career was stressful at the time as well.

The life changing moment came around summer.  I was scrolling through Facebook and an ad popped up for a 5-Day Start A Money Making Blog Crash Course.  This caught my attention.  It would continue to pop up everyday. I thought to myself, prayed about and decided to sign up.  Those five days started a change in me and sparked something that I am forever grateful for.  I bought my domain, switched my blog over, and was on my way.  I took another course from Pete and Heather Reese.  I decided to launch my blog on September 1st, 2018.  I did not get the chance to take the full blogging course until January/February 2019 and that was the only thing I really wanted to do for myself for my birthday.  This course took me further on my journey and I learned so much, and still reviewing information.

My main goals for the blog have always been the same to help others and inspire.  I also want to be an example for my daughter and encourage her to not be afraid to follow her dreams. The blog has evolved into something bigger for me, and I am continuing to step out on faith for other opportunities.  For this first year my focus has been on creating content and connecting.  The connection with all of my fellow bloggers and supporters is what I love so much! The support from the blogging world has been inspiring.

I started getting my blog name out with book reviews, and some of the book reviews where just what I needed to help with my mental health.  Life always has a way of bringing you what you need.  I am also glad I decided to add my sister/cousin/best friend to my team.

For the rest of 2019 and as we begin this next year I will continue to focus on my personal goals-they are the same as 2018 since I did not fulfill them how I wanted to.  My business goals will be to continue to build relationships with my supporters and fellow bloggers.  I want to really get a start on community projects, and we are shifting to products.  We are also changing our focus on the book reviews.  I want everything to continue to evolve and align.

I want to thank all of you for being with us on this journey.  Whether it’s commenting, sharing, encouraging, following-we appreciate you all!

We may not be where we want to be, but we will get there!! Cheers to another year!!
