Chester Chipmunk Will NOT Sleep
Chester Chipmunk Will NOT Sleep by Kathleen George, Illustrated by Louisa Mae-Book Review
Thank you Lindsey with Smith Publicity for a review copy of this book. My opinion of this book is my own. Â
Synopsis
Little Chester Chipmunk cannot sit still when mom tells him it is time for bed. He is still excited from all the fun he had during the day. He has too much to do before going to bed.
He has to play Kazoo, build a rocket that will fit a moose. He cannot do that if he is asleep.
Mom Chipmunk tells Chester about diving in the ocean and swimming with angelfish and wishing on a magic reef. She shares with him the adventure of exploring with a friendly dragon, but only if he goes to sleep.
What other adventures will Chester experience when he closes his eyes?
My Thoughts
I love reading books about bedtime because getting my daughter Leena to go to bed at a decent time is still a struggle.
This book is fun to share with littles who still have a lot of energy when it is bedtime.
Their imaginations can be filled with these adventures and exciting pictures and send them off to dream and they will sure to talk about them when they wake.
