A Tuesday Kind of Love-Book Review
A Tuesday Kind of Love by Lyndsi Richards, Illustrated by Christy Johnson-Book Review
Thank you Lindsey with Smith Publicity for a review copy of this book. My opinion of this book is my own. Â
Synopsis
A gorilla and a monkey fall in love. The gorilla’s name is Lani and the monkey’s name is Kanoa.
Kanoa does everything to make Lani happy.
He left his home in the trees to be with her.
Their love grows and grows as well as their family. They welcome twins.
Raising twins and trying to be the same loving couple is quite difficult, and they separate.
Will they be able to co-parent and make things work?
My Thoughts
This is a beautiful love story. One lovely written and illustrated. A story that can be shared with children whose parents are separated or divorced.
This book will help explain how parents still love each other even though they are no longer together, and still love each other enough to continue to work together to raise their children.
I love this book and will share it with my daughter.
