A Little Space for Me

A Little Space for Me Written and Illustrated by Jennifer Gray OlsonBook Review

Thank you Morgan with Macmillan Children’s Publishing Company for a review (Advance Reader’s Edition) copy of this book.  My opinion of this book is my own.

A Little Space for Me by Jennifer Gray Olson

Synopsis

Sometimes life gets too loud.

A little too messy.

A little too much,

And space is needed.

Space to think, rest, breathe and feel,

But what’s important is to remember to also share our space.

My Thoughts

Sometimes we all need space when life get a little hectic.  We need our space to gather our thoughts and rest, but we also should remember to not want too much space where we shut out those we love.

I love how the author illustrates space by including drawings of actual space.

The story does an excellent job at showing children that it is okay to need space, but it is okay to share our space.
