What’s the best thing you got from one of your parents?

The best thing I got from my mother is her time. I know it’s just 4 Little letters but to me time is everything because you will never know when your time is up on this world. Time speaks to me in the form of love and teaching. It’s hard to show love and teach when it’s never been given to you. Be that it may be unbearable and overwhelming at random times, I understand and appreciate my mother’s time for everything she has instilled in me.

I will say the love of music from my dad. Growing up we would listen to music a lot, and music has turned into an outlet for me.
