Lovin' My Leena Randa B.

Adventures with Leena Post 4-A Special Visit

Last month, we both did a first.  We went back to the hospital where Leena was born. We attended our first NICU reunion.  Many preemie graduates and their families attended. They planned an awesome theme and activities.  The theme was a carnival.

As soon as we walked in, Leena was ready to play the games.  At the first game, instead of putting the balls in the bucket, she was turning the buckets over.

She explored every game table. She loved getting prizes. We took pictures in a photo booth and were able to leave the pictures with a message to the nurses.

Leena was in the spotlight.  One of our local news channels was taping the event. Leena saw the cameraman and went right up to the camera.  She was not shy at all.  I love her personality.

After all the games, we went to enjoy some snacks and Leena got a unicorn.

Seeing all the graduates was truly inspirational.  All of our journeys were different, but everyone there was supportive and glad to see others.  I look forward to attending another reunion.
