Speak Positive Sunday~Message 31
Hello Inspirers! Check-in time to see how everyone is doing during this time of sheltering in place. Are you an essential worker? Are your children’s schools closed? Are you working from home? How are you mentally and physically?
This is a time that has changed our routines and affected our lives, but we must continue to remember that we will get through this as long as we work together and follow the precautions. For the latest info and recommendations, check the CDC website at https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/index.html. If you would like to share your thoughts, suggestions on staying sane during this time please feel free to comment.
I want to speak about Peace. In the midst of chaos and uncertainty we must maintain our peace. How do we do that?
The main thing I am telling myself is to stay informed and know when to cut it all off. Media overload is something that steals our peace. Yes it is important to know what it is going on, but if we constantly watch and watch the news, it will drain you of all your positive energy. I encourage you all to do the same, stay informed, but know when to shut if off.
“Do not let the behavior of others destroy your inner peace.” —Dalai Lama
“Nobody can bring you peace but yourself.” —Ralph Waldo Emerson
“Don’t search for anything except peace. Try to calm the mind. Everything else will come on its own.” —Baba Hari Das
We will get through this. Keep taking precautions to keep us all safe and healthy as much as possible. Pray for those in healthcare occupations and other essential workers. Pray for those that are ill.
Prayer/Positive Thoughts
Thank you for the ability and health that we have now to pray over others and do our part to keep others healthy. We come asking for special prayer for the healthcare workers who are on the frontlines working with the ill. We pray for the essential workers continuing to work to help us get what we need. We pray for those who are ill, and may they recover. We pray for those families who have lost loved ones. Lastly, we ask that we continue to use our precautions and know that it is not about one person, it is about all of us. May we use this opportunity to encourage and bless others.
Sending love and positivity to you all.
Love,
Randa B.
